A Dream in the Making
When you are passionate about horses you become a rider.
When you are passionate about horsemanship you become an instructor.
Carolyn Jette is a force of nature. Like many of us her drive toward a future in the equestrian world began at a young age. It threaded through her upbringing and her early adult years. It never subsided during her time in the Navy or through her continued service to at risk veterans. It brought her to the Grand Prix and to a professional training career.
Gemstone Show Stables in North Oxford, MA opened its doors to allow young and ambitious riders the opportunity to follow their dreams, and it quickly grew beyond expectation. The family we have built including our amazing lesson students, AEL and IEA teams and adult amateurs make us so proud and we cannot wait to watch the next students enter the ring and succeed.
As riders improve so must our horses, both lesson horses and boarded, so when the opportunity arose to expand to Westbrook Hunt Club’s stunning Southern CT facility we couldn’t say no! Even more exciting, Julianne Lindstedt’s decision to begin her professional career makes her our MA facility’s up-and-coming superstar trainer.
With Carolyn devoting much of her time in CT toward the improvement of our wonderful horses and Julianne at the helm of GWH North including training, lessons and teams, this is truly an exciting time!
We are all looking forward to a bright future for our beloved horses, riders, trainers and parents at Gemstone Westbrook Hunt!
